Parenting 101 Class

Alternatives Care Centers offers a live, 6-week-long parenting course on a quarterly basis. Classes and materials are FREE and offered at both the Kalamazoo and Battle Creek Alternatives locations.

For this quarter, the schedule is as follows:

• Kalamazoo location:  Wednesdays at 6:00pm beginning April 2
• Battle Creek location:  Mondays at 11:00am beginning April 7.

• About behavior of children
• How to meet the 5 basic needs of children
• How to create a climate of openness for great communication
• How to establish clear boundaries
• Strategies to help children avoid harmful risk
• About expressing unconditional love
• How to understand cyclical behaviors
